By car from David you take the Pan-American Highway to Concepcion and then head north to Volcan. From Volcan you travel west 10 km on a paved road toward Santa Clara until you come to a four-wheel-drive road to the right. Take this road for 8 km to Los Pozos, an unmarked public hot springs. From there you continue up on the road, crossing a stream and arriving at a clearing with a few rustic cabins. A sign for Mount Totumas Cloud Forest guides you up a road that soon crosses the Rio Colorado where you see the entrance sign to the property. From here you drive up 2km to arrive at our homestead.

     Please take note that the road up to the hotsprings and onward to our homestead is not possible without a 4WD vehicle. We provide logistical support, transport and coordination of grocery shopping and supplies for guests. You do not need to rent a car to visit Mount Totumas Cloud Forest as we can coordinate your arrival from David whether you are arriving by bus or by air.
